A paramilitary police officer carries the lifeless body of Alan Kurdi, one of a dozen Syrian civil war refugees who drowned off the coastal town of Bodrum after a failed attempt to cross the Mediterranean on two boats bound for the Greek island of Kos.

When i first seen this picture it brung me great sadness and to know that everybody but his father was killed and he was 3 years old
why couldn't they be saved ?
why take this picture?
the world they live in so cruel that if a war or anything wouldn't be happening there wouldn't be any death and this poor little boy and his family would still have they life but yet again there are people out here that don't care about anything so they start a war to mess everything up even more.

Vietnam Photographer's Return VIETNAM ARCHIVAL 220
this picture is sooooooooo sad to see it may be a major inspiration for the anti-war movement. just looking at the poor girl face make me wish that they would have did something to protect these children who cant help them self or anybody else
where are they parent ?
where they running to?
why did this happen to them ?
why did this war affect them so bad ?
why was this war going on? what caused it ?

  1. The last picture was a result of a napalm attack, which leaves horrific burns and scars on the body (assuming the individual survives the attack). It was used regularly in the Vietnam conflict, oftentimes producing similar results to the picture above. Crazy, isn't it?
